Resolution risk and reading the fine print
The market resolves on its criteria, not on what you think the question means.

Every market page carries a resolution source and criteria. They are the contract. When the event is ambiguous, they decide who gets paid — not the headline, not a news anchor's phrasing, not what "everyone knows" was meant.
Common traps: a date that is inclusive when you assumed exclusive; a source that publishes later than the event; a market that resolves on an official count while a preliminary number circulates for days; a tie rule that turns a near-certain win into a loss.
Read the criteria before sizing, not after. Qvicom Signal reproduces the venue's criteria verbatim alongside the resolution source, so you can read the contract without leaving the page.
- Which source, exactly, decides this?
- What is the deadline, and what happens if the source is late?
- Is there a scenario where the event happens but the market resolves the other way?
